Finally, one pattern for the whole family from newborn to XL adult. The sample is worked in stripes but you can customize this pattern however you choose. Using this pattern as a basic template, you can add some cables or a nice color work pattern, the possibilities are endless.

Worked in the round from the bottom up (brim to crown), this piece starts with K1P1 for the ribbing, but you can use K2P2 or whatever you choose.

SIZES (circumference)
Newborn – 14” (35.5cm)
Baby – 15-16” (38.1-40.6cm)
Toddler – 17” (43.2cm)
Child – 18-19” (45.7-48.3cm)
Teen/ Small Adult –20 (50.8cm)
Adult – 21-22” (53.3-55.9cm)
XL Adult – 23” (58.4cm)

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Yarn: 100-200 yards worsted weight yarn.

Recommended needles (check gauge and change size if needed):
· US #6 (4.00mm) DPN’s or circular needle, 28-40” long
· US #8 (5.00mm) DPN’s or circular needle, 28-40” long

Notions:
Stitch marker, yarn needle.

GAUGE:
17 stitches & 27 rows = 4 inches/10cm in stockinette stitch

All patterns are written with both Metric and Imperial measurements.
