Description

An adorable crochet worsted weight version of the classic Cowichan / Salish style cardigan. This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top-down with raglan style sleeves. Sleeves are worked in the round while the body is worked flat.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Chest: 26 (30, 32) in. / 66 (76.2, 81.3) cm
Length (underarm to bottom): 9 (10, 11) in. / 22.9 (25.4, 28) cm

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Yarn:
Approximately 800 (900, 1000) yards / 732 (823, 914.4) meters total.

Sample is made in Loops and Threads Impeccable Solids in worsted weight, but you can substitute any worsted weight yarn as long as gauge is met.

Recommended hooks (check gauge and change size if needed):
· 6.00mm (US 10/J)
· 6.50mm (US 10 ½/K)

Notions:
· Stitch markers
· 6 –8 buttons – 1 inch (2.5 cm) buttons
· Blunt-ended needle or smaller or small crochet hook for weaving in ends

GAUGE:
14 Half double crochet stitches = 4 inches/10cm and 12 rows on smaller hook
